CLK320- Starts up cold but dies after driving two blocks. Doesn't start back up till an hour later. I have fuel pressure, a fully charged battery, and the spark I didn't check. Cleaned the CPS. Had the ECU cloned thinking I lost ground at start-up. reset BAS by turning the wheel from right to left. Didn't check the balancer because of the time issue. Any chance that anyone came up on this issue would be much appreciated...

It’s most likely to be the crankshaft position sensor from your description. Cleaning it is unlikely to do anything sadly. A replacement is usually the only way.
