Hi
I drove my merc for the first time in 2 weeks today.
I have set the convenienve settings so that the wing mirrors fold in each time I lock the car and open when I open the door. Today I noticed that the drivers side mirror had not opened. I had to physically open it. After that the mirrors started operating fine.
Also, the clock on the dash was an hour behind in time.
Can someone shed more light on this bizarre occurence?
Thanks

for the mirror, get a can of PTFE spray and spray the moving part in and under the mirror where it pivots,do it with it open and folded.

PTFE or silicon spray from Halfords, Screwfix and tool shops

Thanks I thought as much.
Any idea about the clock? Why would it be exactly an hour behind?
