Hello, hope everybody had a good Christmas!! I noticed about a month ago that the clock has stopped in my 1986 300E. The car has done about 120K and everything else seems to work fine. Any suggestions??
There was a clock repair advertisement in The Buyer mag sometime ago. I can't believe it is the feed to the clock but you should check that you have power there. A little electrical test meter from a car shop is a great help when dealing with these faults. I find that most garages know very little about electrics. Sorry for saying so.
