I get a fairly heavy clonk on a right hand lock on the the near side when going over small bumps. Car is a C240 older style V reg. This is my 1st visit so hello all and there will be a couple of other things soon.
Hi thanks for that, I had a merc specialist look at it and he replaced
roll bar bushes, idler arm bush and steering coloumn damper that was
u/s and it still does it
As the previous post Kelvin, but remember a worn out shocker will give a clonk every time it gets ' unloaded ' quickly.
Had worn roll bar bushes before, but they only made a clonk when pulling away or stopping.
