My 06 plate CLS500 with for some reason raised up abnormally high, front and back. I only realised it this morning when I was going to take it to work. I have left it as is without starting it up or anything. I'm worried something has happened to the air suspension and would like to seek the forums advice on what could potentially be wrong and what to do about it.

Thanks in advance.

The pump has been modified and the relay replaced from a Tyco built unit to a Hella one.

With an 06 plate hopefully a warranty repair or at least a goodwill payment (if you argue enough).

That's got me worried, should I replace the relay on my car while everything is still OK?

£6.80 + vat and not a bad idea to change it, may stop the pumpfrom burning out prematurely.

If its the same as the W220 SCLASS , have you raised the suspension (AIRMATIC RISING) and removed the key without lowering it again? Pressing the lower suspension button wont work. The car will keep the raised position in its memory till you exceed 70mph or 55 for 5 mins when it will then lower again automatically. Check out the handbook :D

I agree,
This caught me out a couple of months ago, took me 2 days to figure out what the problem was as I was only driving in town over the weekend so never exceeded 40mph until I returned to work on the Monday morning.
