CLS 500 and Sony K800i Phone

Can anyone help me on how to use the Bluetooth functions with this phone, as all I can do is pair the phone, nothing from the phone seems to work with the in car system? So I bought the (expensive) cradle, and all this allows me to do is read the SIM memory from the phone to the car system, as I have all of my contacts, names and address's in the phone memory, they are unuseable. I love the car, but I need to get to the phone properly, The command system has a great address book but I cannot seem to transfer from one to the other, if I only had a few I would consider transfer via linguatronic but I have over 300 contacts to do!
