CLS shooting brake trim

Does anyone have have any ideas where I can get replacement B pilar piano black trim from please. I don’t want to wrap in vinyl because black vinyl is soft that it scratches too easily

I'm going to replace mine at some point.
I'll get them from Mercedes. Not cheap, but then what is.

Wow, just phoned up my local MB dealer…..£117 +vat each so not cheap however they are in stock so I’ll give it some thought

At that price I wouldn't be giving them any thought at all .... I'd see what they looked like after I'd polished them.

I’ve tried polishing but the dullness seems to be under the gloss finish almost like they are de-laminating, anyway I make and fit vinyl graphics for a living I also wrap cars and vans so I’ll wrap them in gloss black first and then when they scratch (which they will) I’ll wrap them in black carbon firbre which won’t scratch but will look a bit boy racer, not my style I like stock

Doesn't seem extortionate to be fair.
If they come with the seals etc, would seem a fair price.

I know what you’re saying Trev but I pains me to pay nearly £300 for two bits of plastic, although I may end up swallowing the bullet

I had a similar issue with my slk r171. The trims at the side of the rear window do the same. They're not cheap either.

Just received stick on covers from Ali express £4 haven’t fitted yet but they seem to fit unfortunately the rear ones don’t fit as they only do the saloon not the shooting brake, however the rear ones are fine so I’ll keep you posted, they seem to be very very thin and should not look like aftermarket
