If anyone sees a CLS350d Shooting Brake 2015 onwards for sale, could they let me know? Must have a light interior - Crystal Grey or Beige is OK.

Ta!

I'd seen the first two - both missing the Premium Plus pack and a little too old. The third one is pre-facelift so excluded. The last one has way too many miles, no Premium Plus Pack AND a hideous grill! Thanks for the suggestions though.

About the first two being too old, we've had our 2010 E350CDI for 6 years, so we would rather have 2016ish to keep 'up to date'.

Very much agree about the grill

I like the colour of the 3rd one

Prices seem very "variable"...

I too like the colour of the third one, but being pre-facelift it will have the 7G gearbox and older dash - and we want the 9G and newer dash/Comand. It is also EU5, and we definitely want EU6 if we are going to the trouble and expense of changing the car.

Same car though, I looked and all 2015 on had Black Leather although many had Prem Plus on

I know. I would begrudge pointing you in the direction of that car before you bought it, but my other half is a bit iffy about saddle brown...
I'll be eternally grateful for the heads up.
I hope you find one as good or better.
The Drivers Assistance pack, all round Airmatic and Distronic would be things I wouldn't want to give up.
The Saddle Brown has mellowed into the colour of a Gentlemens Club chair. I wasn't sure at first but it wears better than cream or white  and is certainly way better than the black which would make it too dark inside.

They are out there with light coloured interiors - just few and far between. I downloaded the 2015 brochure last night and they had quite a few colour options back then. I did see a Cavansite Blue one with Crystal Grey leather about three years ago, but my partner didn't bite when I shared the advert... Shame, as it had Airmatic as well...

I had an E350 with Saddle Brown leather a couple of cars back. I ordered it like that; the sales guy looked down his nose a bit and said "that will have to a factory order sir....." But I liked it; it reminded me of pre-war Austins (!) and as above, is a change from black. Paintwork was Tenorite Grey as far as I remember.
But I think the current Saddle Brown is a bit different, a bit lighter?

I had a 5 series estate with it - (nicest thing about that car...) my 911 has "Cocoa" leather, I basically like anything other than "BLACK!" (One of the reasons I've never bought a modern Audi, almost impossible to get anything other than a Nihilistic Goth/EMO interior :()

I too would seriously like a CLS Shooting Brake. It's a great shame that MB ceased production although in 2019 Mercedes secretly put together a CLS Shooting Brake mock-up. The design was approved by Stuttgart, and it was apparently brilliant. However, management cancelled the project, citing that nobody wanted such a car in the all-important North American and Chinese markets.

I wonder how they know that?
The Shooting Brake design outshines most other manufacturers offerings with its grace and sleekness IMHO and in the 63 form is certainly good enough for the US market.
I mean, have you seen some of the latest Japanese and Korean offerings? Sheesh!
Fugly things that make my eyes hurt!

US and Asia just don’t like estates in general, whereas the UK/EU markets love them, but not as much as they used to, hence moving more to the SUV markets
