So I'm after a healthy CLS55 (in no rush whatso ever) and been watching the advertised cars for several, several moths, only missing out one real contender as it was located in central London and the strict lock down rules.
Cars with high 130,000 miles, are not selling at around around £7,000 (advertised values).
Cars with around 90-115,000 miles, at around £6995-8500 (advertised values) have been selling.
So I'd say around £13K would be around the upper end of the value for the best clean low owner, low milers etc).
(I've noted the reg plates of the examples being passed around on fleebay etc and trying to be flipped as well as the optimistic folks selling high milers for what I'd say is top end money, so avoiding such examples.)
Current examples of available cars at dealers
73K - £13995 - Not Sold for over 8 months
104K - £11,990 - only been on a short while
Now, this one, is the kind of thing that I'm after : 73K, £16990 - just came onto market. This is at the other end of the country but, I've always happily travelled for the right car. I've been told the price is NOT negotiable (and I would not negotiate without being there in person). To be frank it needs a couple of minor bits of paint and I'd if it was mine, I'd fit new lamps despite the circa £900 each cost and would expect any car, at the upper end of the price scale to be 100% (as my current even far older cars are!) Would members agree that this example is overpriced?
Additionally would members agree that circa £13K is currently the upper end of the price ranges currently? If not, what do you think the values truly are?
