Afternoon all
Fitting new clutch to W169 A150’. 2007. Today
There is a flat side to the plate and other side has a raised centre section
Which side faces the flywheel ?
this is odd because the gearbox had a very strange noise Am also changing gearbox .
The one I took out had the gearbox side printed on but that side was facing the flywheel.
on the new clutch the flat side has. Flywheel side printed on. You can see the raised section on the plate on the photo.
getting bit confused !
Am now questioning sanity after being here 12 hours and wonder if I turned the old plate but would have a £50 bet I didn’t
I lost the bet. No answers needed. The plate will only fit one way round anyway. Time to go home. Many drinks I thinks.

I do that kind of thing at work these days .... remove something, make a mental of what went where ... turn round & have already forgotten.
