CODE P2080 EGT BANK 1 SENSOR 1 HELP

I have the p2080 code which is a generic code for egt sensor bank 1 sensor 1.
My symptoms are car does not accelerate at full power but doesn't appear to be in limp mode as it will still accelerate to 90+. It feels like the turbo isn't spooling but the turbo isn't the problem. I also have plumes of black smoke if the accelerator is floored. If I turned the car off and restart it drives fine for a few minutes then slows again each time giving the p2080. My car is remapped to stage 1.

You need it checked on STAR, could be an air leak or a problematic sensor or even a software update.

A long shot guess without doing any solid diagnosis

Thanks yeah I was thinking air leak or split in turbo hose or something similar due to the black smoke.
