- Mercedes A class w169 2.0 cdi
Hello everyone,
I have a problem with my Mercedes a class w169 2.0 cdi, the check engine is on and I can't manage to get rid of it.
I used a scanner and pulled the code p2101, first I tried to clean the throttle body and erase the code but it came back after two or three starts.
After that I ordered a new throttle body and changed it but the same, the engine light came back on.
I've changed the electric part between the two throttles as I thought maybe is something wrong with one of them but still nothing changed.
The throttle body has a sensor on it, changed that too but no luck.
I want to mention that the car doesn't have any symptoms, it's running as it was supposed to do, the only problem is that because the engine light is on the DPF regeneration it isn't happening.
I already had to send the DPF filter to be cleaned once and it wasn't cheap.
Let me know if you have any idea from where the problem can be. Thanks
