I have owned a new shape C240 for 2 years bought from new and during the winter months with the climate control on I get very cold feet. So I switch the c.c. off and direct the air in to the footwell. Anyone else with c.c. on a new C had the same problem?

Hi
I have a C240, 2001 (51) Reg.
I dont get cold feet whilst driving, and i usually put the temperature to 22oC.
I set the air direction dial so its, pointing down right or upper right.

cold feet

Hi

Try this :-

sit in the car with the ignition on, press and hold the two buttons (together) to the lower left of the climate control pannel untill they start to flash alternatley (5-10 sec) then release, wait untill flashing stops, switch off igntion and wait 5 mins.

This normalises the whole climate system and can sort out minor problems. If this doesn't work flirt it into the local stealer it should be under warrenty (3year)

cold feet

Thanks Wagamama but unless I,ve got it wrong the direction control only works with control climate switched off.I want warm feet with it on. As to Piestores suggestion I dont have the later digital temp display that was fitted will this make any difference? If it dosen,t these 2 buttons your talking about how are they marked.
