Cold start

Hi

I have a problem with my engine when I start it from cold the engine is very noisy with a faint metallic clicking noise. The car has an odd shiver which shakes the car when at idle. The engine runs like this until it reaches normally operating temperature where all of this goes away and the engine is perfect.

The car is a C220 diesel W202 auto with 120k

It has been doing this for a year now.
