Just to list a few causes.
Auxillary valve sticking.
Faulty cold start injector make the fuel too weak, normally operated by key.
The thermo time swich that controls the cold start injector, if faulty the cold start injector will not work.
Sticking or jammed Air flow sensor.
You can forget any problems with Main ECU as this is not used for starting or idle.

Cold start problems

Hello guys!.

My question is, I have a 260E '89, and to start the engine i must put the pedal to the top position and have a few second the key turning right. After that i must acelerate the car another few seconds and the car can go with no problem.

I think the must start only with turn right the key. Please, help me!.

Regards
