Cold Starts C220 54 plate

Hi,

Recently noticed the car appears to over rev when pulling away within first few minutes of starting, then performs ok for rest of day.
Could it be fuel related or a fault developing in gearbox.

It could be just the colder weather - the autobox holds lower gears for slightly longer to speed warming up.

As Rory this is a built in feature to warm up the CAT as quickly as possible,,the car will hold on to the 2 lower gears
