colder AC?

Is there anything you can do to make your AC blow colder air? 93 300E 3.2--I am in Houston--it blows cold in the morning and when it is not too hot outside (lower than 90)--however theremostat only show it to be blowing 72 degree air when it is hot outside

yes I have put fresh freon in--so it is not low on freon
