Which Dark Blue?

Which dark metallic blue?

Azurite Blue is 5366 azuritblau mica. That's a very late W124 / early W210 colour that's a purplish dark blue. Touch up stick is A 000 986 04 50 (about £7 from a dealer) if you want a sample

Best way to do this is to go to your local paint supplier (not Halfords, the people who supply bodyshops) and have a root through their colour charts. If you approach them in the right way they will be very helpful. They can make up an aerosol of any colour you like for a tenner so you can try it out. Just bear in mind that metallic colours are dull until you lacquer them so only an expert can evaluate or match them unlacquered

When you've got a few ideas go visit the bodyshop you're going to use. Narrow it down to a couple of colour options, discuss it with the sprayer and, if you still can't decide, get quarter of a litre of each and ask them to spray a panel (any old panel they have lying around) for you. Then take the panel out into the sunlight and have a long think

Azurite (Azuritblau) is code 366 as on my car here:http://forums.mercedesclub.org.uk/showthread.php?t=9892

It is really darker than the photos sugest, as they are taken in bright sunshine.

Blueblack (Blauschwarz) is code 199

Greenish black (Smaragdschwarz) (translateted as black-emerald) is 189 (can look darkisk blue in some light)

I think the latest dark blue is call: Midnight Blue
