Just changing the fluid and the oil in the reservoir is red (colour of ATF) and the new Febi oil spec 345.0 is green. This matches the spec sheet ( Model 166, 168, 171, 172, 197, 199, 203, 204, 207, 209, 211, 212, 215, 216, 219, 220, 221, 222, 230, 231, 240, 414 ).
The question is do they mix?

345 is pentosin.
To my way of thinking it should never have had red....

My thoughts too.
But if they don't mix I'd be better leaving it as it is, otherwise I'm into a whole tear down and clean out.

Closer inspection shows it more of a brown colour (out of direct bright sunlight) and smells more like a normal mineral engine oil and not ATF. Haven't got round to tasting it yet!

After looking at various youtube videos it seems like the fluid changes colour (unsurprising) to a reddy brown after long usage, so the change is back on again!

Yum ..... :shock::shock: :D:D

Brake fluid has the best/worst taste in the world! :cool:
Used to say Saki tasted like Lockheed brake fluid:p, fortunately never tried the later. Settled for a glass of Pinot noir at lunch instead.:)
Changed the fluid by using a syringe that came with the supercharger oil, 100ml out, 100ml in, lock to lock 3 times with the engine off and the wheels off the ground. After 800ml it was almost as green as that in the bottle so did it once more to top up. Went for a quick spin, so we'll see:cool:.
