I am just about to install COMAND 2.5 in my S320
(2001). All bits and pieces neccessary have been gathered (I hope !!)
I am using a wiring adapter, 4 connectors plug into COMAND, another 2 plug into the cd/radio plugs to form a loop.
If anyone has any experience/advice who I haven't contacted, I would appreciate their help/comments

cheers

Chas

No I can't offer any advice, but I can wish you the best of luck. Hope it goes well. Did you ever get your Navi CD?

Well done, you are a better man than me to even attempt it!!!

Having done it all, and appart from the fact that the dash/console looks better, what are your impressions?

I think the car looks complete inside. There was always something "missing". And the added bonus of an extra toy to play with :D
Now all I need for XMAS is one of those wooden/leather gear shift knobs :D

Yes that blank has gone, so no more thinking about how it would be.

A picture is worth so much more, thanks :D:D

I hate blanks more than anything else

It changed the complete look of your car inside.
Looks so much better now.

P.S. Once the weather get's better give me a call and and we'll organise a Clay pigeon shoot at my place.

Hi all,
I have bought a 2001 S Class it had an old disc in it so I bought a new one 2007/8 the problem is that it is telling me I am miles away from where I am (MAP LOCATION) and it tells me I am off road even if I am on the M1.It seems to be using the old map info and not the new,can anyone advise me on this or is it in need of repair,if the later is the case where do I take it.Thanks Brian
