Could Alfie or some other expert tell me which is the CD for COMAND 2.5 S CLASS 2001

The comand unit is the same as mine (2002 S320CDi)
The cd seems to be right correct type as well. However I have heard of people buying these cds off ebay and experiencing problems.
Better off buying from Alfie.

Better check with the dealer (using the part No) as the early Comand 2.5 used none DX discs, and the later used DX.

As far as the particular seller is concerned, this disc is a copy and as such is illegal and probably useless.

As suggested, better buy from Alfie, or if you are interested, I have a spare proper 2006 DX disc for sale.

I have one of these CD's off Ebay, I am looking at it as I type, cos its so good that it sits on the desk to remind me not to be so stupid when I buy things on Ebay.

I am sure that Alfie will help, do you really want to risk breaking Comand to save a few pounds on the CD.

I am trying to do this on a budget ( the wife will kill me otherwise )

MB quoted me £275 for GPS antenna, and £230 for burr walnut panel to take the COMAND.

The COMAND cost me £100, so I am not going to spend too much on other things

I reckon I can do it, including install for less than £ 499 ....... I will keep folks informed..

Can anyone tell me if this GPS ANTENNA will be ok for my COMAND installation? It's £10 as opposed to £275 for MB one.
