Does anyone have one of these systems installed in their car ? I am looking at an E Class on Saturday and it supposedly has one of these. Where would I find the cd/dvd changer ?

From pictures I can see that it has an SD slot but cannot make out where the changer should be ?

The changer is in the glove box in the dash, it was an option on every model

Hi, I think you will find the cd changer is behind the lower switch panel, there is a chrome button just below the hazard switch, press this and the switch panel powers away to reveal cd changer.

I couldn't see the chrome switch below the hazard switch in the photo, thats why I asked for an alternative location for the changer

could be difficult to spot in a photo as it is not that big. Just doing a site visit in mine so I will make sure I have the location of the switch correct as earlier it was from memory.

My memory is not failing me, just below the hazard warning switch is a chrome trim about 1/2 inch long, that is the button you press. Unless it has changed again on the MY 09 cars.

What is the latest version of Comand ? So that I know whether I should ask for it to be updated prior to completing my purchase ?
