Hi all, just bought a replacement comand unit for my E55 (W210), I have the correct removal keys, however, when I insert them into the slots they do not locate into anything. I have tried the same keys in the AC control panel above and they work fine, heard them click into place and pulled the unit straight out. Any ideas as to what is wrong or how to remove the unit?

Thanks :confused::confused:

The keys for command are slightly different from the normal radio, a/c ones, they have an additional grove on them!!!

Thank you Malcolm, but how do you remove the cover to get access to the two screws? :confused:

Yes thanks I got the second email but it shows the panel without the comand unit. Are the panel screws located in the ashtray compartment?
