Hi Guys
Just a quick change - I think that it's an Audio 10, not a command 10 but I'm not entirely sure...
Here's an interesting problem that's just cropped up. My C180K W203 (03 plate) has just started doing something odd with the radio, which I think is the Command 10 - it has a single CD slot and no sat-nav. When the car is started and the radio is first switched on, the display lights up on the radio for about a quarter of a second then it goes off again. About 4 or 5 seconds later, it lights up then goes out again almost immediately. It continues to do this over and over again for a few minutes before staying on and working properly. If I try to turn the radio off during the time it's going through this cycle, nothing happens unless I hold the button down for about 20 seconds.
If the last state of the radio was OFF when the car was last shut down, the radio goes through this cycle when it is turned on. If the radio is not turned on for a few minutes after the car has started, it seems to come on straight away.
Curious...
Perhaps it's related to the other problem on the car - see my earlier post entitled MAF Problem ?
Anyone have any thoughts on what it might be ?
Thanks in advance
Jim
