I've recently purchased a 2003/53 C200 Coupe, unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any instructions for the Sat Nav with the car. I've figured most things out but there are a few things I'm not clear with.

Does any one know where I could buy\download a copy of the instruction manual?

I've deleted all the previous 'last destinations' and 'saved' entries from the previous owner, but when I have saved my 'Home' location this does not appear in the Saved Destinations. Have I done sometihng wrong by deleting all the previous saved entries?
Is there something specific I need to do to get my (what I thought were) saved destinations to be appear in the Saved Destinations?

Similarly, the destinations I have entered so far do not appear with the name I saved them as when entering them. They just show as an address in the Last Destinations screen. Does any one know if there is a reason for this?

When the radio\sat nav is turned both off and on there is a 'ticking' noise coming from it. Has anyone else experienced this, is it normal?

Many Thanks
Andy

Never save your Home address as 'Home'. Why I hear you ask??????

Because when you are out one day and you get your keys nicked, the thief not only has your car but also has a mechanism to be driven to your house ( where you wont be in) and he/she can then help themselves knowing you are stranded elsewhere possibly not even knowing you've lost your keys! Thats why.

With Comand 2, its easy to simply save destinations as 'Save without name'. you know your own address so its easy to recall it. However, a thief has no idea which in a list of addresses is your home.

I have visions of memebers dashing out to their cars and deleting the 'Home' destination:wink:
