Command APS disassembly

Hi All,

There is more money in my DVD player than is normal.

I have removed my command unit, but cannot work out how to disassemble the unit to get to the DVD player. It is within a cage that seems to be attached to the "front". Removing 4 screws that go in from back to front on the edge brackets and it does not give.

Any clues;

It is a A211 820 21 97 Becker BE 7039 unit.

But mine does not have the simple side brakets to remove.

You will not find anyone that has taken one apart,,,with all new things come to me, you just disassemble with car until you get to the level that you need to.

What is the problem with the unit, is it just money that has been pushed into the slot

Yes - it is money (coins) in the slot. Removing unit and shaking has not helped (there appears to be a felt internal cover to the DVD player that may be acting as a one-way cover.

Any suggestions?

I have been doing such things all my life but never done one of these. I do not know if Becker UK can help you, its worth asking them.

If they cannot help then I might have a go for you
