command failure

The command screen on my clk goes blank while using sat nav and cd player this happens after about 2 hrs of use if i turn it all off for about 5 mins it will all come back but i then have to reprogram destination, this has happend twice this year ( the car is nearly 4 years old but has only done 16000 miles) the fault occured twice while under warranty but could not be found.

I would suggest that the comand unit was replaced under warranty if you have taken the extended warranty out.

If not, it could be a heat related issue. Does it do it when the heater is on full blast?

The heater (air con) was only on low

After your help i contacted the dealer who is going to look at it when it goes in for a service in early November.
