command on w220 class year 2003

Can anybody tell me how to remove the wide screen 2.0 command unit from the facia without damaging anything as I want to fit a digital tv tuner. Also any thought or suggestions to assist this would be gratefully recieved:

If it's COMAND 2.5 (CD) like mine, here you are....


Put the car gear selector in drive

Take out the ash tray , you will see 2 screws, you will need a T15 (maybe T10 ) torx/star screwdriver .
Put a folded towel below the ashtray position and the the gear selector to prevent any scratches.
Remove the screws. Then pull from the bottom, the Aircon at the bottom comes out attached to the trim , it will stick at the top, don't worry, the top of the trim is attached with two spring loaded clips- top left and top right. Pull out applying pressure near top of trim on each side.

When trim/ aircon is out remove the plug or rest it carefully on the left hand side.
You will see 4 screws holding COMAND 2.5 in place, remove them. There should also be two screws either side of comand unit, 4 inches inside you will see 2 black plastic brackets. Remove the screws on each and pull out comand unit.

It will rest on the towel.
