Has anyone else experienced this problem? When the car (W210 2002 registered) is cold the Sat nav and single CD player refuse to work when it warms up and the ignition has been swithced on and off a few times it suddenly starts to work anyone with any sugestions? I will just add that during this period all the other functions work perfectly. I have a 6 stack to fit soon but will not help with the sat nav situation. All serious suggestions considered the car is only 37 months old.

I think you will find that the sat nav has to find a sattelite before it will work and the cd is the same unit(i think) so there is a delay .Unless (of course) it was ok before

The comand in the slinky is dvd. it works seemingly straight when you switch it on...i think it will remember where you are. it doesnt have trouble when you leave it off for a few miles either.

I think, altho i may be wrong, that the unit may be suffering a bit of condensation. It sounds like it works when a small bit of temperature has warmed it up...

Any takers

Hi no answers from the wise. It is a little frustrating that a Mercedes E Class37 months old that cost it's original owner a lot of money is plauged by niggles. Do you think that at this age with full MD MB SH I should push for MB to sort it out or would I be wasting my time?
Be pleased to see what you all think.

yes..demand to see someone at the dealers who know what they are talking ab out.

but dont forget, it may be a fault which has nothing to do with them. like wrong disks, dust in the cd reader, etc...so dont shout at them.

assertive not aggressive.
