command query

Thinking of purchasing W208 2001 with command fitted I already have a garmin sat nav.
Do you need to update the command unit/How costs, latest maps is it done on-line, like the garmin.?


are there any other benefits to command? it also has a Bose system fitted.

Hi Hilary, you cannot update on line, the car is CD based for that year, and the disc cost about £110. I change every 2-3 years just to keep up to date, the latest disc has some very good improvements on it.

There are for and against for all of these things, the Comand is good as it will not get stolen and its all built in.

The Bose amp is nice to have
