Now that I have the seating sorted out on the Viano I can concentrate on other issues like....The Command system

The sat nav has me all over the place except where I actually am, and from reading other posts I would suspect the antenna to be faulty. MB parts department are quoting £150 for a replacement which is a bit more than I would want to pay so is there any other places i can obtain said antenna. It is the one that covers the sat nav, radio and phone (I think).

What do I have to do to play DVDs in the system?

What is required to get the TV working?

If no satellites are being picked up,, then the antenna, was that the price including fitting.

Before one can comment on the TV or DVD we need to know what comand you have

Sorry Malcolm I meant to say no satellites are showing hence the reason I suspect the antenna.
The Command unit is the APS. I've never had one so it is all completely new to me

Your only choices are to replace the original maybe from euromerc.com or MB, you could fit an after market antenna on the screen or under the dash if it is all plastic

Is there a connection on/behind the command that I can plug an antenna into?

That way would save me dropping the headcloth to get to the roof antenna

Yes there is a separate plug for this on the rear,, but the type of connection needs to be checked out to make sure that you can get another antenna with the same type of connection

Yes antena plugs into unit. Usual to stick ariel to underside of dash behind cluster or next to centre vent.

Aftermarket antena are a bit hit n miss, some good most unreliable. Try MB or comandonline.co uk.
