Comments on Air-con installation on E200 (W210)

I own a mercedes E200 (W210) 1995 and would like to have air conditioning installed. I am told the complete dashboard will have to come out. I would like any comments from Mercedes Benz owners who have had the full installation carried out on their E classes. Please Oblige. Thanks.

I must admit I would give a lot of thought to changing the car. The aircon installation must surely be expensive to install. I know there are a number of specialists who do it, muight be worth a look in Mercedes Enthusiast for some names.
