Complex job or not?

Hi,

A month or so ago I posted a question regarding an odd knocking sound from the suspension on my C36. Well, curiosity got the better of me the other day and I booked the car in to Merc of Leicester for a bit of a diag session.

Long story short, I got a list of faults which they described as 'normal wear and tear'.

Anti-roll bar bushes inner and outer worn.
Slight play in front ball joints.
Slight play in front wheel bearings.

Wheel bearings aside (since i'm familiar with bearing failures and the noise they make).

I've been told by a friend that the parts aren't particularly expensive, but how complex is it to change the other bits?

Any advice would be appreciated.

None of these jobs are hard to do
Roll bar bushes take about half an hour
Bottom ball joints 1hour both sides.

No problem mate .It's just two bolts that hold on the bottom ball joints.

They are quite easy to do and will make a big difference to the feel of the car. Get them done as soon as you can, they are fairly normal wear and tear.
