There appears to be condensation in the boot of my 300E (1986/87)
I have had the petrol tank moved, the air vents unblocked etc, but still there is condensation.
I have been told this is common on the 190's. Does anyone else have a similar problem and if they have managed to clear it.

The MB dealers don't have a clue.

Thanks

Water could be getting in where your aerial goes thorugh the bodywork into the boot.
On mine the rubbery outer collar does not seal as well as it should ?sunlight & age has taken its toll. This does let in some water ?only spotted when the carpet is pulled back.
good luck

Hi all
as Orlando said a good place to check is the arial seal as my 230E also leaked at this point. Unfortunately it wasnt the only leak, I had to get the rear window taken out and resealed. I suspect it got a quater panel at one time and the window wasn't replaced properly. The boot resembled a swimming pool for a finish. Good luck.

Regards
Mike
