Hi all, hopefully just a quick question.
I did order a set of manuals as my car did not come with one. All the manuals were in the pack, except the manual for command.
And so, I have a question about that.

My phone is connected by Bluetooth and I can call and listen to audio without problems.

I want to connect the command (it says phone does not support data). I had a play, and I found a setup page.

Is this info the same as the APN settings on my phone, or something else?

(If it makes any difference, I am using Giffgaff as my phone service provider)

What are you expecting to do by connecting Comand to your phone? I once tried to connect the web browser on mine, via my phone, but it was painfully slow (and I mean really, really, slow) to respond and it is so much simpler just to use the phone for browsing In the normal way.

Cannot answer your question but, FWIW, you should be able to get an online (searchable) version of the manuals using the Mercedes app.

I have no idea of what connecting my phone would do...... So I want to connect and find out :D
I am wondering if it would update the maps, or give more accurate traffic news.... I just want to find out what would happen....
I have ordered the destruction for command, and they will be here soon.....

Nope, there is no online maps update and i doubt traffic news for a car or your era.

Nope - I checked that and the online manuals don’t go back to 2011 (2014 IIRC).

I connected mine to see what it would do and was very unimpressed, apart from that a lot of the apps that were available disappeared soon after, its a waste of time.
