I have bought another clk 320 as I love these old things but this time a convertible. I knew there was a roof fault when I purchased it. I have changed the bow sensor which was broken and now the bow lifts which is further than it did before. But then gets stuck in the position where I have had to squeeze my skinny long arm which now is ****** bruised inside to tightest gap of the boot to release the pressure valve so I can manually put it back into closed position. Any idea what to change or repair next? Thanks

Get the codes read on star/xentry at a local Independant MB specialist?
that should pinpoint if it’s a micro switch / motor issue.

Changing things on the off chance can end up more expensive in parts and time in the long run.
