Lifting by hand is very stiff , you are fighting hydraulic pressure , even with the pressure release buttons turned (I can’t remember if there is one either side or just on the right )Thanks. Not cheap are they, and I need two!
I wonder why they snapped? Could they have been under some strain? When lifting the roof cover up by hand it was very stiff, not sure if it is supposed to be?
I would use silicone or gt85 , WD40 isn’t really a lubricantI'll maybe reopen the roof manually and go around everywhere with some lube. Clearly there are still issues as to why it wont close automatically so we wont be using the roof for now.
Would WD40 suffice, or silicone spray?
