Hi everyone,

Another day, another problem discovered:

IMG_20210810_134655.jpg IMG_20210810_134705.jpg

Is is just a very small leak, and I do not have oil in water neither water in oil.
Could I just try to retorque head? Any possibly simple solutions? I have had this car for not so long and have been repairing a lot of stuff and was not ready to dig that much into the engine.

Any help would be very appreciated.

The second pic looks more like an oily leak from the rocker cover gasket ,the first pic looks like a slight coolant leak which is inkeeping with a HG failure ?

Dont know if torqueing the head bolts would accomplish much as once the gasket has gone , its gone.

Give it a thorough cleaning and keep your eye on it.

Yes, there is a bit of a oil leak from the rocker cover, but that doesn't worry me, what worries me is the green coolant leak down there.
I will try to check if it is minimal or not...

Its hard to say if driveing will make it worse, maybe if you were staying around your local area you may be ok.

Done a 20km ride, it looked dry, but I suppose with the heat, coolant dries as soon as it comes out, right?

I bought it only two months ago, have been fixing a lot of stuff. I like but still not sure I will keep it long. Ordered rear shocks to see if that improves it's handling.
I also have been trying to do all the wrenching, I always done my wrenching on motorcycles, but I am trying to loose my fear (and buy tools) of touching cars...

It has some nice features, it is a factory sportline, a/c, 4 electric glass + roof, abs, 4 seater.. but 560kkm is quite bit :)

I recently changed all my hydraulic lifters.
What do I need to do more to change head gasket? Remove all fuel supply lines to injector and then the head itself?
Can I leave the crankshaft on the head? ( Just remove the sprocket?)
Lifting the head can be hand managed by a single person?

Quite easy if you have the right tools and follow the sequences... I had one of them collapsed...
