Hi all!
I own a 124 300 TD merc from 87, and i had a strange experience with it. I was driving it when i heard a slight squeeking. When i slowed down, to stop the car, i've heard the squeeking became louder, so I've opened the bonnet and saw that some water was dropping from the plastic cover right above the radiator fan. The fume was only coming out from the lower left part of the radiator. The temperature indicator showd, that the coolant temp was a little lower than 80 C, that must have been right, cause when i touched the rubber hose coming from the radiator, it wasnt burning. And also, the last injector valve housing was wet.
Can anyone tell me what am i facing here? Sounded quite serious. Oh and i've filled it up with coolant, just the night before this happened. I might have over filled it a little.

I read some threads saying that most probably it is caused by a leaking water pump.
