Saw your query on coolant loss.
My 190e has just been cured by new water pump. It was consuming about a litre per week. Inspection revealed external leak in form of drips thrown from around the area of the alternator belt and, as I now know, temp gauge rising to above 100 pretty quick.
May be worth a look at front end of engine bay.
