Coolant Overflow

My 230 TE lost some coolant out of the expansion tank overflow this morning.

It's never done that before.

Any ideas folks?

I do not want to sound woe full, the head gaskit can go in such a way that it blows the water system up, that is, if the leak is in the gaskit is between the piston and the water jacket it can blow the water out of the expansion tank.

Woeful or not I can't think of any other explanation for a sudden increase in pressure unless it is some kind of airlock.
