Coolant temperature spike

Hi guys,
Spent an absolute fortune on my s55 kompressor, new radiator, ac rads, hydraulic system, today when coming home was sat in traffic not bad, temperature gauge on 95c then when near home and at traffic lights the temperature spiked in 5 seconds to 110c, followed by a lack of power, got it home no coolant leaks, level perfect in expansion tank... had the air con on at time put the heating on max hot to dispell the heat and it blew cold. Gave it a couple of hours to cool down and ran at normal temperature.

Sounds like there was a airlock in the system. Keep a eye on the temp and if it happens again then the system will need to be running with the cap off until the airlock passes out of the system.
