Can anyone please advise on the following : My coolant warning light was coming on intermittently, as I was loosing no coolant and the temperature remained fine, I was advised to replace the sensor as this may be corroded.
After the garage replaced the sensor, the warning light has remained on!
An auto electrian has tried to hook it up and search the problem for me but said his diagnostic kit could not communicate with the coolant system. He said my only other option was to take it to my local Merc dealer,which I am a bit reluctant to do, for obvious reasons!
Has anybody else had a similar problem and if so, some advice would be very appreciated. (Perhaps a bad earth or wiring problem?)
