Just purchased 1996 C250TD and the cooling heating fan is sometimes noisy. It sounds like the bearing or it could be just lubrication. Has anyone experienced similar who could suggest remedy? :?: Fuel consumption seems to be around 35mpg in mixed driving conditions, which is disappointing. I have switched to Winter setting to get turbo to cut in later. Will this help?
Maybe it's a service issue perhaps the Injectors etc. need cleaning. If anyone can give tips on enhancing fuel consumption I should be grateful.
