I want to copy my original Mercedes Comand satellite navigation CD to create a personal back-up disc.

Does anyone know which software to use to do this? I?ve tried the standard software on my PC (e.g. Sonic Record Now and Nero) but they don?t seem to be able to read the original disc

My system is CD not DVD based

Thanks in advance

If it's a 2005DX disc, it is copy protected.
The only way to do it is to find some software that allows you to by-pass this.
If it's an earlier version, you should be able to copy it without any problems.
Software like Nero or Easy CD creator can all copy the earlier versions.

Find someone who uses a CD-Burner and Linux.

Plenty of tools on Linux that are not too fussy about copy protection ;-)

Good Luck,

Richard
