cosworth 2.3 16v self levelling suspension

Hi guy's new member needs some info.I recently replaced one of the hoses that run from the pressure sphere to the strut there's a non-return valve incorporated that had gone, after which it seemed ok,but after turning of the engine the back off it sank again. Also the triangular warning light on the speedo lights up occasionally with a high pitched whistle that comes from the front right wheel arch.there's a sphere marked A.S.D what's that all about.Any help will be gratefully recieved.There is not much info about on the cosworth.But i would'n't swop it for a sierra cosworth.

Funnily enough discovery channal program "wheeler dealers" had a program on fixing up 190 cosworths a few days ago. Most people junk the self leveling system and fit normal shock absorbers. A very staight forward job you can do at home.
