newbie here i test drove a 220 d coupe yesterday was ok what is your opinions on the 230k is it a lot quicker and is auto best many thanks

The 230k is a completely different animal to the 220D.

Personally I can't see the point of a manual car. Yes they are great for flying through country lanes, keeping the revs up, but realistically most of us spend our days in traffic and autos are great for that. Plus, a few mins of thrashing in an auto (retraining it) and it's pretty much as responsive as the manual and you get to keep your hands on the wheel!
