Has anyone changed a crankshaft sensor on a W164 ML420CDI?

I am looking for any tips on the easiest way to access it?

looking at the diagram I was thinking passengers wheel arch liner removal should give best access.

Don’t believe your gain access via wheel arch, underneath is the only way unless you got small hands then from above with the air covers off mark!
