Hi anyone experienced this? car is switched off key is not in ignition and the reverse light is on and also the rear left light is on, boot will also not open. garage has put the car on some computer and the result is nothing is wrong! any comments please.

had that checked for corrosion and they say its ok

The rear lights and tailgate are both controlled from that unit. It’s the first place I’d be looking
