Creaking From Upper Suspension ball-joint.

Hi All,
Today a creaking noise has started on the drivers side of my 1995 C180 Elegance when going over speed humps, rough ground, and cornering. Have recently had wishbone bushes and lower ball-joints replaced, when i push down on the drivers side suspension the noise seems to be coming-from what looks like an upper ball-joint near the top of the strut, anyone else agree or have any different opinions?

Obviously can't comment on where the noise is coming from at this distance , but you do have a balljoint in the upper control arm which may be the source, no.59 in this diagram ; http://www.detali.ru/cat/oem_mb2.as...417717.418&CT=F&cat=45H&SID=33&SGR=030&SGN=01 . Looks like it is part of the control arm.

Would this make my steering not completely self-center and slightly stiff? a problem i have have for a while now.

Possible you have a seized or dry ball joint. Have it seen to urgently as ,if it shears your suspension will collapse.
